    not much time in the shop today, made an adjustable mounting plate for the Starter/alternator, you will see in the photos, not cleaned up , wanted to see if it did the trick and it did, later will clean it up, sanding etc, to make it look a bit better

    got the proper belts for the starter/alternator, still waiting for the proper ESC but its in the mail, changed the brake pads, worked on the hatch covers, wing tip also, getting there

    the last two days been preping the wing for the bottom sheet, fine sanding of the ribs to make them equal height, installing the wiring, and in these photos, there still one set missing the "gear down sensor wires", the airlines for the pitot tubed, , sorry about at least one photo not properly...

    The final ratio is 6:1 but we are not reaching 6000 max at 5000 and most of the time 4500. The brushless can't spin easily without damage to 30,000 If there is plenty of power to start the motor, I might go with a lower ratio , experimentation is what it's all about

    more work on the large Pulley adapter, made a sort of jig to drill and tap 8 holes and 4-40 screws, ran out of the long screws so will continue tomorow

    Today took a break on the wing, and worked on first removing the engine from the Pitts, and started making the adapter for the starter/alterator, what you see here is a work in progress, more cutting to do but its going well
