    Finally got a trailer...

    Still hauling mine in the back if my 22 year old S10 shop truck. I bought it new in 95 and it's only got 116000. And since you can't buy a "small" pickup anymore I guess I'll keep driving it a while.

    I've got the wing in the box ready to ship back to Horizon tomorrow. Tonight I mounted the ignition. If I have time, tomorrow I'm going to make the canister mount.

    I got a call from Horizon today, It took some doing, but they emailed me a shipping label to send my left wing back so they can look at it and decide if they're going to replace it or not.

    I had a similar experience with the company we get our estimating software from. FedEx was either not delivering them, or when they did they broke the discs in half to put them through the mail slot. The software company blamed it on me and made me pay for them. I'm beginning to wonder if there...

    Still no word from Horizon. I tried calling them this afternoon. They called back and said a tech guy was supposed to call me back, but hadn't by the time I left work. I guess I'll try again tomorrow.:ugh: I got a few things in the mail today. Aileron harnesses and extensions from Taildragger...

    Carf ailerons don't flex like wooden ARF's. Plus Carf ailerons normally aren't as big.

    No word from Horizon today. Tonight I spent some time designing a canister mount. The ones that came with it won't really work, so I'm going to make my own. I've got some .078 aluminum that I used to make the canister mount in my Pilot Edge and it's worked for over 3 years, so I might as well.
