Yeah, I just put one of those babies in my 58" Edge and I really like it so far! I'm spinning a APC 15x7E prop on 4s so far and I'm getting 1200W from that setup on 4000mAh GensAce. Definitely adequate power for the airframe, although I may try a 15x8 to get even more power in pop tops etc.

Yeah, that's what I meant, but I admit I wasn't expressing it very clearly. I'm sure the motor is great for what it's designed for (like any Motrolfly I've ever seen).

I'm sure you already know this, but Subsonic explicitly discourages customers from using the 3625 for 3D stuff because they don't think it will last.

No flying on Mother's Day. Flying is great, but divorces are messy and expensive... :) Besides, it's been gale force winds here today. I even saw some downed threes and branches.

I was just going to say "Honey, do you know how much that costs?" when I realized she may easily do the math on the droves of propellers and other plane parts in our basement and realize that this hobby is "a little" more expensive than I've made her believe... :)

This really cracked me up when I walked down to my man cave today. Penny had put some flowers in the basement windows and one needed some propping-up, apparently. "Propping up" get it? :) (No I didn't stage it. This is really what she used.)

Nice smoke, James! Hey, by the way, I know you and Glenn put smoke on your 72s. Would you mind posting a few words on how you did it on the 72 thread? I think smoke in my 72 is going to be my next project!

Wasn't much to miss. After 20 minutes I realized I was way too tired to fly...

At least you followed a good scientific protocol by postulating a hypothesis, designing an experiment and interpreting and publishing the result. I applaud you for that! :) (And I'm happy you could piece it together)
