Peak Models 32% Extra 330 SC

Thing is this fellas, we've all been there. And most of us still are. I love 3D and have gained a great amount of skill over the last few years. But there is one thing that stops me from doing like so many of the really good pilots do. The older I get, I have learned that I can do pretty much...

Probably should not have done this, but I just couldn't resist breaking into the CMP 50cc Edge. Why? Cuz it's there. LOL. Seriously, I really wanted to see what the overall quality of this ARF is. It's really not too bad. There are a few things I don't like about it. But nothing that would deter...

Same for me as Snoop... I've also been in the market for a new radio. Ever since Hitec jumped ship and sank into the deep abyss on producing a new radio system, I've been on the prowl for a new system. Two that are in the top four: Spektrum DX20 and the new Graupner MZ 32. Many I know have had...

Oh what a long week. And huge headache... but at least I made progress with the Behemoth Yak canopy. And oh how much fun this will be. NOT!! I like to build. I like to cover. But when it comes to painting... I'd rather have wood splinters shoved under my finger nails. Anyway... just about ready...

Finally had a few minutes after work to start removing the tape on my Yak Canopy. The directions on the canopy glue bottle states a full cure in 24 hours. I figure since it has been 48, I should be good to go. Wow... two big balls of tape removed from the canopy to hold it in place. But I'm glad...

Oh you don't have to tempt me. I am so motivated I can't stand it. I just need to get some irons out of the fire before I attack the big Stang build. I would love to find a 1 fity Dub.... Oh man, would I?!

    Scale 50% Dalotel 165

Wow, what was I thinking? I did not realize until you mentioned it... umm.. 1.7 is way under 4 ounces. Duh! My 40% G-Force weighs the same as yours. I really don't know what I was thinking.

I finally received the replacement to the replacement canopy for the Behemoth Yak (2). Six months later and I finally get to replace it. The first replacement looked as though it had slipped in the mold and the paint was really messed up in spots. Plus, I do understand a little trimming may be...

Oh yeah...I totally get it. I myself also do not understand why people do that. Me on the other hand....they "ALL" get flown. Baby has in excess of 450 flights, the Sukhoi is well over a hundred now. The Pilot Edge is pushing 40? I think? The Behemoth Yak is only 11. But most of these planes are...

Snoop....for what it is worth, I hope it helps. The DA 50 is a good running little engine. Quite capable of doing that build you are doing prime justice. They run fairly similar to a DLE 55. They are actually fairly smooth and have plenty of power to swing a good size stick. The DA 60 on the...

Thank you. But that is not all of them. I still have a Red Bull Edge still in the box. I think I might build it. Also have the big 330 in the covering stage. Dang, that bird is nearly as big as my Behemoth Yak. LOL....Oh and my little Twisted Hobbies foamy....my gasserized trainer....umm....too...

    Scale Plans built P-51

You are correct. The original Nosen 'Stang was a one piece full build wing. The fuse was also full build. However there was an addendum one could purchase. The glass fuse was much lighter and much less work. Not to mention considerably lighter. I had one many moons ago and planned to finish it...

Discussion The I’m going out flying thread 2018

Really sorry for your loss. Odd thing about your crash is "VERY" similar to an "ALMOST" crash my son had on a brand new Pilot Yak. We have been doing the same setup on every bird for years. Obviously 50cc'ers are not as elaborate as our big monsters, but the layout is still pretty close. We have...
