    Got some things done on some friends planes and finally got back on rudder tray install. Bolted it down with SS 4-40 hex caps and lock nuts. I don't think it will come lose or come out unless a lot of wood gets splintered :rolleyes:.

    I sorta do the same thing ;). But I drilled and tapped 4-40 socket head. I also put a light coat of shellac to seal the Teflon coupler to the header and canister. On the MTW flex headers I also give it 4 good wraps of yellow Teflon tape. Zero leakage. This one shown has had about 20 flights...

    I have had my share of Saito engines too......The 56, 65, 80GK, 91, 125 and 180 as singles and the 100, 130, 300TTDP as twins. Even had the herculean 450R but never flew it on anything.     Just talking shop here..... I find it unique and not surprising that gas engines do better in the hobby these days simply because of the displacement available to cost's ratio. The biggest glow engines back in the day and present day are 50cc/60cc. I would be thrilled with a 4cycle YS 120cc...

    Now to validate my testing results for the new cf landing gear on the QQ300.......Perfect roll outs, smooth as silk landings and VERY VERY durable :). The tree landing did poke a hole in the wing though :lol2:.

    Got some more testing done on the new cf gear on the QQ300. Sometimes the shop has to go outdoors :D.
