Well it's not red but it is GOLD! Got to digging around and found an old Futaba pull pull wheel that I used to use on my old school 120 size glow planes. Very hard aluminum. Felt like I was tapping steel when installing it to the carbon arm. Worked perfect :). Nice quiet and smooth operation...

Looks great Rob! Looking forward to the flight report. I know the DL50 going to fly my Extra. I'm just hoping to be surprised like you with its performance. I could dump 3/4 pound going with a side dump but the canister going to give me some smooth torque. When it's ready to fly and I end up not...

The spinner looks really good for this plane. It is about 1' longer than the one I had on the V1. Trying to decide if I want to paint it or not . The finish is very well done with a great glossy CF look :).

Rudder tray came in yesterday. Got it put together and found that I will need another aluminum servo wheel (used up the 5 I got):face-palm:. It is a very nice tray :). Loved the Eagle II! Built two of them. First one as a basic 4ch trainer and the second I added flaperons and a nose-wheel brake for STOL action. Flew it with the old 72mghz FM Futaba super 7 which had flaperon mixing. Best Trainer Ever IMO. Loads of fun.

Now that the QQ300 is done I can start thinking about this green apple banana plane. Got some necessities (CA glue, hinges, gap sealing tape etc...from a brand new Hobby Town that just opened. The owner operators are flying club friends in Foley, Al. Best to Sheldon Sheppler and his Lovely wife...

@Snoopy1 History always repeats itself. Landing gear issues always seem to be present no matter what kind of plane you got or the time period of the plane o_O. The good news is the after market availability to find what you really need for that certain plane is abundant. I think it's some sort...

Got it all wrapped up tonight. Switched to 3mm hex screws ( did not have blind nuts for the 2mm). Took some careful digging but got all that poly (hard and soft) out and the LG plate in. Nice to have this one done :).
