    The engines "thrust line" also plays a role. The PAU Edge build I did for a buddy I had set 1.5 degrees right thrust and 0 up thrust. 2 degrees up thrust was built in . Should have left it that way. Applying power in KE or level flight made it pull towards the belly and slightly dive in straight...

    Guess I made lemon aide with a split of lime . Stuck with it because the other scheme was allegedly the last one available. No matter. No damage and construction seems excellent :). Besides......IT WAS CHEAP because...........fill in the blanks here __ _________ John Deere Extra 330DNC...

    It can make the rudder more or less "sensitive" just like the elevator. In extreme cases of tail heavy it can make the plane unstable and stall easily just like the elevator. In KE rudder is the elevator and elevator the rudder.

    Last couple of days have been beautiful weather wise but not able to get the 26cc gasser to the field so instead the drive leading to my house made for a nice run way. For some foamy action. Played "torquen in the bean patch"

    Peak Models 32% Extra 330 SC

    I wont have to break the bank to get this one to "pop" :). Ordered up some RC goodies to complete it.....9ch power-safe Rx, 4.5" carbon spinner, 2 3000mah 2S lipo receiver packs, 5 aluminum servo discs for custom CF arms and a CF pull pull rudder tray. Also found some nice 20awg HD servo extensions.

    The extra 330sc "incarnate"...... Found the V2 which is supposed to be a tad lighter, carbon fiber reinforced fuse and wings, hinged with flat hinges for optimum control surface throw . Oh! and the scheme...Really nice IMO....wont need any stickers on this one :). After getting the "Bugs"...

    Personally I REALLY like that black anodized True Turn. Looks great on the plane and it spins TRUE. I have used similar spinners like the Pete's but not the first one spun true. The closest one that did was a Mejzlik I got from Daniel Holman. Never had problems throwing a screw but I did use...

    I had a tether racer from Testors. I did not have a place either to run it on the tether so it got "Testored" (that's tested and destroyed) right in to a storm drain :cryin:. Ahh.... those wonderful sixties.
