    Look out Jackson!! I still dont believe that Im not working or building a heli! But instead, I trimmed the canopy to fit the hatch of my Dalton. I sanded a recess in the fwd sheeting for the canopy to rest in. Then drew a line, leaving a little to trim off after gluing, and cut the canopy...

    I've flown mine on 1 aileron servo. It was mushy, but I knew there was something wrong there.... Linkage come off the servo horn.

    Props

    You are probably looking at 10" props. Best thing to do is invest in a Watt meter (Watts UP and Astro make great meters), and hook it up inline from the battery to the ESC. And then take notes of Amperage and Wattage readings. Then change props. You are only going to be holding full power...

    Naaaa.. Chads come out slightly nose heavy with a Savox 1283 with a tray. If anything, the Rx batts will help reign in the CG.

    The 7990 will be just fine. On 2S Lipo, you will have over 600 oz of torque.

    Firewall paint, Rustoleum Hammered??

    I prefer not to use any of that stuff, unless it is in a hatch. A light coat of grey primer, and a uber light coat of make it stone. Just be sparing with the spray, otherwise, you will add some unnecessary weight. Unless you need it for ballast. :)
