Well....that is until recently. It appears it was removed. I must ponder the reason why.

So you're the one that sent it back before he sent it to me? He told me that the previous person complained because it was not "nearly new" as described. Did you really do that? Shame on you. LMAO. If it is in fact the same 106, it will need a bunch of work just to get it to 3w standards.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I know, right? I weighed the 70 before putting it on the Pitts. I was astonished to see how much it weighed. Could this be why I have about seven tons of lead on the tail of the Pitts to get it to balance? That being said, I sure wish I had the extra dead presidents laying around to acquire a...

So, how many of you have a Dalton 260 engine test stand? I have a really bad habit of not tossing out the trash when I think there still might be a use for said trash. Such is the case of the Dalton 260 I "WAS" going to rebuild for my friend. That is until we discovered it just was in too beat...

Really sorry to hear about your disappointing purchase. But in the long run, you're probably better off without the headache. Being a devout "dub" dude, I will sincerely offer the 3w engines really are pretty darned top notch and very difficult to compete with. On the other hand, mistreated...

    Giant Scale Twin engine planes

This would be a really great winter project. Although I like the thought of a twin engine something, I am just not too keen on the Tigercat. A gent from the previous field I flew at had one and it was in my opinion the most ill handling and scariest landing plane I have ever seen. Perhaps it was...

    SOLD! 4.5" spinner

Hey all.... looking for a 4.5" spinner. I would optimally prefer the style that was on my 107" Pilot Edge. Red, 6" in height. But will settle for simple aluminum or unpainted c.f.. Thanks... Rob

Sport The Kool Kanary (Giant Hot Kanary)

How the heck did I miss this? Ok...bring it on. I may not have tons of time to respond, but I will "FIND" the time to check in periodically. You do build some interesting planes no doubt. Oh and by the way, I want your shop for my very own. LOL

Just my opinion, but ideally as light as you can get them. We have a friend that has a 40% Edge that tips the scales at a whole whopping 28 lbs. He flies it with a DA 120. Just amazing. I myself do not like over 16 to 16.5 lbs. for a 30%. 35% I am pleased with 25 to 27. As for 40%, it really...

So me thinks @Xpress is working on a secret military sib space orbiting huckship. The kind you toss at the planets and miss. Why else would he be so mysterious? Hmmm!!!

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Yup, been there done that. My 35% PAU Extra was a complete pig. 31 pounds on the dot. And I did zero additions. And yet my Pilot Edge with the exact carbon copy mirrored image set up came in 2.5 pounds lighter. Figure that one out. I have been on the other side of the coin with exhaust systems...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

No real accomplishments tonight fellas. Other than making some definite decisions on how to approach the Baby Yak assembly. I did however add the Baby Yak to my radio and program the elevator servos and rudder servo. The original builder only had about 20 degrees deflection on those surfaces. I...
