Oh we noticed I assure you. And it works with your receiver arming? I wouldn't have expected less or any thing other than an actual operating key when it comes to your build. Oiy, I am so jealous. LOL. This is getting really good now that the major construction is done. The amenities added daily...

30 pounds? Holy smokes. I had no idea. What made it so heavy?

Well you see David, that just won't work. My Sukhoi is a Hangar 9 40%, 122 in. It already has a 3w 170 on it. But don't tempt me! I have considered boulding it to the 33% Yak. LOL

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Very understandable. Nothing like extra ponies. I have always been a real big fan of the Sukhoi. Back in the day, one of my very first planes was a Goldberg Sukhoi. As you well know, it was designed around a 120 size glow motor. Oh but no. My first one had a Moki 1.8 on it. Then I changed it to...

Thank you... But I have not been the kindest owner and all. Leaving bolts out so the pilot can self eject, landing upside down cuz right side up is over rated, and the like. Sheesh...gets 'spensive. I get what you mean. I used to take more than one plane when I went out. Seemed like one ended...

    Let’s Talk Fuel Lines!

Exactly. That is why I like the heavy clunk. 99% of the time, that clunk will always be in fuel.

    Help! The difference between a DA85 and a DA100L.

It's interesting that you should pose this question. I watched some youtube videos last night primarily because I wanted to see how the 85 ran and if it shook much. I was actually pretty impressed with how smooth it was. Some say it is as smooth as the DA 60 and DLE 55. Or maybe even smoother...

    Let’s Talk Fuel Lines!

I am really glad this got brought up. I had thought I would look at alternative tubing for my setups. But then I got to thinking of two things that keep stopping me. The first being foremost in my mind. I make it a point to check my fuel lines each end of season and then again each beginning of...

Not even USPS can mess up a Pilot RC shipment. Dang, that Tony and Pilot are just top of the stack for me. My 107" Pilot Edge Left wing panel showed up yesterday. Along with the canopy for the Behemoth Yak (2) and the replacement stab tube. They also sent the replacement canopy supports too. I...

I am with you. I am now just getting a little catch up done myself. I almost feel inadequate when I read up on all the progress. I am aching to see this thing up close and personal. Passion? That would be an understatement. I think this build exemplifies the true meaning of "scratch build".

Dang it all David. I really am sorry. I know you had your heart set on it. Just really bites ya know? Yes, I do agree and understand your feelings. First come, first served. If first bails or falls through...number two is up to bat. And so on. In the flip side of the coin I might be able to put...

Quite breezy this morning but my son and I braved it anyway. Two planes, 8 cylinders, 434cc's, 255" span, over 100 pounds and nearly a gallon of premium 40:1 Redline. That's what I'm talkin' 'bout!

Ok, I now officially hate you. I spoke to Hans a couple of years ago regarding one of his engines. As it turns out, my buddy bought one of the Kolm 240 (4) cylinder beasts. And let me tell you, that thing is a pure work of art. Not only does it look so freaking bad ass, it runs the same way too...

    3D MOJO 65 w/20cc Build

Very accurate. Both RCG/F engines I've owned were this way. Way too loose on the plug cap.
