    Sport The 182 gets "Gassed"

I bought one of those spinners for my first gasser, an Aeroworks Yak 54. Right after I bought it I was trolling Ebay and found a Mejzlik 23 x 8 with a Mejzlik spinner drilled for a DA50 that was like new and dirt cheap, so the other spinner is still on the shelf.;) Someday I'll use it on something.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I've spent some time over the last few days trying to clean and organize my workshop. About 3 hours so far and you can barely tell I did anything. I have too many hobbies and too small a shop.:confused??:

Yep, walk through one corn field for hours on a 100 degree August day looking for "parts" of an airplane, you've walked through them all.;)

First Look, ARS 300 From AJ-Aircraft.com!

No, if you look at where the stinger exits it's a canister not a pipe.

I was there from 8:30 till about 3:00, they must have gotten there a little later. I was tired and getting a little crisp around the edges from being there the last 2 days.;)

    Ignition straight into powerbox?

If you would, post some pics of the Carf. I was just flying my 11 year old 90" Carf 330L today. It still flies great! I also flew a brand new Carf 330SC with a DA120 today, it was a sweet flying airplane.:)

Considering how good the forecast was, I was expecting it to be crowded at the field today, but there was only about 6 of us. I guess everybody else used up their kitchen pass going to our Warbird event yesterday.;)

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

The G62 may swing a bigger prop, but power to weight ratio there really isn't a comparison since the G62 weighs 1.5 pounds more than the DA50. It takes a lot of power to make up for that pound and a half.

Denis I should have sent you some of our wind! The weather guessers were wrong again. Light and variable less than 5 my butt! I still got 4 good flights on my old Extra, and the new tank works great. No trips into the farmers field to retrieve it after a dead stick today.:banana-dance: My buddy...

    Scale Pitts S1-T, S1-S, and a Challenger.

Nice! I think you should talk to Bart about changing your name to Pittsman. ;) What kit, or plans, is that one?

Another thing I saw at our clubs Warbird and Classics event today was an awesome charger setup. Kelly, one of our club members is the developer of the BumpCharger which is a controller for Revolectrix chargers, mainly the PowerLab 6 and 8 and the Dual PowerLab 8. He and his sons are now doing...

IMAC The new Dalton 300 SP / 330

The theory we're working with is junk couplers. He complained that they were thinner than normal and not the normal white color. He's installed new ones and it's ready to go for Sunday so I guess we'll find out.
