Although it was quite chilly and very blustery upon arriving to the field this morning, a little conversation with my friend and his son, my new student pilot...soon gave way to warmer temps and a drop in the wind to around 15. Rebuilding the Yak...again.
I was worried about that. I never liked pull/pull and try to stay away from it at all costs if possible. Just not sure pull/pull is the way I want to go. With the '90's push/pull, they are strong enough to break the fuse if held solid. I may have to re-think my setup.- stangflyer

Here we go again. I've never been the type to just "settle" for close enough. I'm extremely pleased with the repairs on the Yak and it flies incredible. Servos
Just a "FWIW".... I do like my Hitec servos, and the 7955's are awesome servos. Depending on what you run for power will determine the torque of these servos. They are designed to run 6 volt or HV. Either way. At 7.4, they are 403 oz. But as Mike stated, you would need different arms as JR does...- stangflyer

The wing tube is an easy fix Mark. Here is a thought for you. Buy a new fuse, have Tony send you all the Pre-cut covering for the wing with a loose sleeve. Strip the wing, reglue the sleeve, recover. Easy breezy. Man I wish I lived closer to you. I would take on that task for you in a heart...- stangflyer

The Yak was "NOTHING" in damage compared to the big Edge. Tony would have to send nearly the entire fuse wood to put that back together. To have a failure of the exacting details to the same engine.... Talk about a swift kick to the !!!! I talked to Steve at Chief regarding getting a new fuse...- stangflyer

The Valach is a sweet sounding engine. And quiet. Unbelievably quite. Tom had some guru custom build a 2 into 1 canister that sits right behind and below the engine.
