Sport JTEC RADIOWAVE 26% Pitts Model 12

That scheme is really sexy. I hope I can come up with something just as nice.

Sport JTEC RADIOWAVE 26% Pitts Model 12

Nice idea. I have been looking at some really wild schemes that used to appear too complex to duplicate. But now, should be a breeze. But that being said, I think I am going to go with a really "classy" look mixed with some holographic effects. I guess I need to start building it before I get...

Sport JTEC RADIOWAVE 26% Pitts Model 12

Well...interesting thing here. I am no longer limited to straight lines and separated colors and ruler cut stripes. I do not own a laze cutter or any fancy-dancy drafting equipment. I stumbled across something yesterday that is going to open up my scheme options for this Pitts. See, I'm kind of...

This is awesome. Thank you Brett. Between you and Van (@Maxwell1945) this should turn out to be a 100% success. Pretty sure I'll be referring back to your build thread often. Thanks again... Rob

Just out of curiousity, How do you like the way if flies? Any weird characteristics?

Whoo-hoo....I thought I remembered you had one Van. I remember seeing your photos once. I think that is another reason I decided to get going on this one. I just loved your Pitts. So very pretty....just damn sexy. Plane (pun intended) and simple. I will give you a call perhaps this weekend...

    "NEW" 125GX 125cc Twin-Cylinder Gas Engine

I do agree...I would prefer 3w any day of the week over any engine. But comparatively speaking in the economy class I think DLE wins hands down. I would be a hard one to convince the quality and longevity of the new Evolution would be in the DA or 3w class. That being said, with Towers super...

    "NEW" 125GX 125cc Twin-Cylinder Gas Engine

I'd venture a guess that they are being conservative on the rpm ratings and performance. Normally, "ANY" 120cc class engine will swing a 29x9 or 28x10 at nearly 6500 or more. I'd be willing to test one if given a chance. What's the worst that can happen? LOL....

With the Rebuild of the 40% Pilot Yak done and once again flying, I am going to get started on a project that I have been putting off for quite some time. I mentioned this build way back last year if I remember correctly. Ah but other irons in the fire took priority. The weather here is just...

    "NEW" 125GX 125cc Twin-Cylinder Gas Engine

Not sure I am willing to part with $1,000.00 for a Asian Engine with a DA price tag then spend another $138.00 for exhaust. For an un-proven engine that is only rated at 7000 rpm with a price tag equal to a DA, not a sound investment at this time in my opinion. A proven and reliable DLE 120 for...

    Rebuilding the Yak...again.

Looks great! Bet you're excited to get that bird in the air again huh?! Socal? Hmm....Superb idea. I'll see how things play out here. Not totally out of the question. Thank you Tanner.

    Rebuilding the Yak...again.

81 and no wind today. Ugh, and here I was stuck cleaning house. Ah! But tomorrow, supposed to be nicer than today. You can bet I'm going to squeeze every second of flying left for this season. I have three new airframes to get done for spring so gonna fly now. Build this winter.

    Rebuilding the Yak...again.

Hey, thanks. I am very happy with how it turned out. I honestly had my doubts. I have this sickness though. Once I get started on something, I can't seem to pull myself away from it. LOL.... I just wanna go flying again.

    Rebuilding the Yak...again.

Wish my son was still 13. Then I wouldn't mind not flying... Ah well, enjoy it while you can, right? Thank you.... It was certainly a lot of fun. Even if I was the only one that braved the chilly temps and the above average breezes.

    Rebuilding the Yak...again.

I am so excited to say, the re-re-maiden of the big Yak went exceptionally well. Have to admit I was a little nervous and honestly had to force myself to open that throttle and let her jump into the wind. And jump she did. 10 to 12 mph winds with 15 gusts. That tail came right up and in ten feet...
