    Man that sucks. I guess it could have been worse. When I saw you starting it in the stand I was thinking, man there is not much stand upright above the wing, that thing could jump over that at high throttle. The last thing I expected was the stand to flip over.:oblong:

    Last night I worked on the new wing tips for my 50cc vintage racer project. They still need a bunch of shaping, but I want to wait till they're glued on to do that.

    Less pitch for easier landings?

    More diameter and less pitch will help the landing speeds and that idle sounds too high. If my Carf Extra idle is too high it will sail across the field with the wheels a foot off the ground. With the idle set right it lands just fine.

    One of the things I like to tell people that are unfamiliar with our hobby is you can make it as expensive as YOU want. You can fly for a few hundred or less, or tens a thousands. Whatever makes you happy. I like to buy used when I can. Right now I have three used airframes and three used DA's...

    I can have fun flying conservatively, but the first time I did a complete pass around the field in a harrier about 6 feet off the ground I was so happy you couldn't beat the smile off my face.
