Pilot Figures, What do you Like?

I assume your Dalton is 40%? There are lots of different choices on the market. It really comes down to what you want to spend. Red Aero makes some awesome pilots. A little pricy but well worth it. I have one in my big Yak. Hangar 9 makes some nice ones. But a little less quality. Then again...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

You do realize I know you been peeking under the hood of my 260 right? Your baffling is pretty much to a letter how I did mine on the 157. It runs quite cool with no overheating issues. Good job Mark!!:way_to_go:

I located this in the event you wanted to look at something. http://www.takecontrolhobbies.com/content/manuals/42p_mini-thor_manual.pdf Voltage regulator? Are you running low voltage on your servos or system? Will the rx. to your radio not handle the higher voltages? Not sure of your system...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Guess I missed this David. I use SF pin and flag fail safe switches on the sides of my planes. It activates all on board electronics. When the pin flag is removed, my rx is powered up through the smart fly, which in turn allows the ignition to become active with a flip of a switch on my tx.

I will look at what ya got...can't promise I can help but will try. The "Mini Thor" is nothing more than a simplified ignition cutoff switch. It has an internal voltage regulator that you can select between 5.0 volts and 6.0 volts. It makes it possible to illuminate an extra battery that is...

    Scale 50% Dalotel 165

If that tape will hold a 200mph Nascar racer together, I am pretty sure it will hold your wing in place till it cures. LOL....good job. I liiiiike it.

David, Not sure I am understanding. I'd like to help if I can. You say you have your ignition plugged into a separate channel that can be turned off/on with a switch on your 14mz? This is the way I have all my planes set up. They work incredible. And ultra safe. Example: Switch on plane powers...

    IMAC Dalton 260 Restoration

I had thought of that aspect. The wings seem very strong and the overall construction of the airframe and sheeted wings, stabs/elevators and rudder was some of the best construction I have ever seen. At least it appeared to be as such when it was built new. But as I mentioned regarding the right...

Looks great Kelly. I have to be honest and tell you, I am really regretting selling that 70 to you. Think ya might just wanna send it back? NAAA? Yeah, didn't think so. I am very happy all is going well with the Jtec custom muffler and the 70 twin.

    Aerobeez "BANSHEE" 91" Slick build

I'm really sorry Tanner. I had high hopes for that not so little unit. No control "REALLY" bites a big one ya know? Probably the sickest feeling anyone can have. You try to the end of time and no matter what you do, you get no response. Just to see it pile up in a wadded up ball. Chin up there...

Dang Mike, I would love to have that big Edge. Sorry to see you sell it. But if you are not flying, no sense in having it just sit right? You going to sell the Sukhoi too? Or you hanging on to that one. Hope you start missing the flying in a real bad way. We'll miss havin' ya 'round.
