Scale Bud Nosen 1/4 Scale Cub?

Yeah generally the plane being towed does the release but its best to have a release on both planes in case something fails.

Some rainy day flying. Didn't know it was gonna rain when I loaded up this morning but had the packs charged so went for it anyways. I can confirm it will fit in the back of a 95 Mustang.

Working on my 48" EF Edge. Was happy to see that my new batteries are an ounce lighter than the old ones. So I have four charged packs and will be headed for a lunch break fly session.

Yeah its weird and from the manual it doesn't seem like you can actually match it to the movement of the throttle stick. The manual references that its default to 1.2ms-1.8ms but if seeing a lot of dead band it can be adjusted to 1.1ms-1.9ms

It flys amazing. I need to work out some ESC issues but other wise I like it. Used the power setup from a crashed eflite plane that was a similar size. I’m not getting full range of throttle so the prop wouldn’t start spinning until about half throttle. Was able to run my throttle trim all the...

OpenTX is bada$$. Their Flight timer options is something I wish all radio manufacturers would adopt. On gas or nitro planes I still just us a basic timer but all of my electric planes I use the throttle % timer. For others that haven't seen it the speed at which the timer counts down is based...

So a buddy of mine built a 60” lazybee as an electric conversion. He loves it but thought it looked. Weird with the electric motor so he asked me to design a 3D printable motor to fit around his outrunner but look like an old COX .049. I think it turned out pretty good.

A buddy of mine flew my crack beaver and loved it even though he isn’t a 3D pilot. He ordered one for himself and brought it to me a week ago. Got it finished up today and even flew it once before passing it off to him during my lunch break tomorrow.

I will say from what I have learned flying gliders is they fly a lot different than a normal airplane.

You would have gotten the plans from Pete over on FG. His user name was Mode1 and Rob AKA rcpilot82 still will laser cut short kits of Petes planes. Pete left the hobby before GSN was ever created though. Even Rob who talked with him on a daily basis can't reach him anymore. Pete had quite a few...
