Discussion The I’m Going/Went Flying Thread

Had fun flying the Crack Beaver with a buddy and his Crack beaver. Was all fun and games until I pulled instead of pushing when in an inverted harrier. 20 minutes and some foamtac tonight will have it good as new.

    Yippee! What the postman brought

I got the same book but slightly older edition in my file cabinet here at work.

I didn't like all the SFG's just being white foam. Taped them all off and took a black sharpie to them. I feel it cleans it up a lot.

This is for sure going to be true. I've been looking hard at the 35" Fokker.

Not sure if it ever did it here but I know RCG, FG, and the probro site any picture uploaded direct from my iphone without editing will post sideways or inverted. Generally I will just email or text the photos to myself and that resolves it.

LOL I may not get through all of them but we get a hour for lunch and I will be flying at the park we have on site at work.

I would assume you posted from an iPhone. Mine will do that if I post directly from my phone. Generally just email them to myself and upload from my computer to prevent it from happening.

Well I said I was gonna wait but I just couldn’t resist. Man this thing is a hoot. Even got my first dork out of the way. Got nine batts charged and ready for my lunch break tomorrow.

Crack Turbo Beaver is RTF. Very happy with my first ever twisted hobbies build. Everything fit perfect. Should get a maiden in tomorrow during my lunch break if all goes well. I would try today but i glued the wing on this morning so I want that joint to have a full 24 hours to cure.

Actually I have adblocker enabled on my Chrome browser so that may be why I don't see any adds.

Yes looks different to me as well but I'm not seeing popup adds or anything.

Probably committing a cardinal sin slapping an Eflite motor into an Extreme Flight airframe but it’s what I got. Now to sell some stuff to afford servos for it.

Thanks. I'm looking forward to getting it in the air. Got a couple motor and ESC combos I can try in it but will have to order servos. I know they used to design all their 48" birds around a HS85mg but this one is setup for HS70's which are the same size almost as your standard 9 gram foamie servo.

Cool. The guy that cut my parts I had to factor the offsets into my files.

    Yippee! What the postman brought

I was the postman by picking this up but should be fun. 48” V2 extreme flight edge. The engineering that went into these things is amazing.

Looks nice snoopy. Did you have to account for the laser kerf in your files or did your laser guy do that?
