Scale 20cc Edge 540 Profile “The Glitter”

I just based it off the foam I have in my shop currently which is depron that is right at 9mm thick which close to what most EPP out there is. Basic specs are 32” span 29-1/2” long. Hopefully only about 7-8 ounces all up wieght. If you look at the 32” foamies that value hobbies sells it will use...

Haven’t done anything RC related with it yet but started learning a 3D design software called inventor. Really cool program but totally different from what I’m used too with 2D AutoCAD.

Gotcha. I rarely draw it on my plans but I normally have an access hatch in the top of both wings.

I would advise against using the aeroworks techniques. I promise you if you build the plane as I have it drawn on the plans it will be very strong and lightweight and easy to build.

I’m thinking of getting one. If I do it may get the floats I have a be a water bird only and I will continue to trash my other UMX timber. Also thinking of ordering the more powerful motor for the stock one to wake it up more.

It’s a macs header and a dollar tree metal spray bottle. Worked awesome. Really woke up the os 55ax. Not saying it was ever a bad motor as it’s great without it but ridiculous fast throttle response on the pipe. It worked good to give you power all through your RPM band unlike the long tuned...

I love my UMX Timber and it fly's awesome off of floats. I have flown mine more since I got it than I have anything else in my fleet.

Scale 20cc Edge 540 Profile “The Glitter”

It's hard to see in this photo and I will see if I can find a better one but all I did on the 40 sized one when I built it was literally a small piece of double sided foam tape to stick it in place and then drilled a small hole through the fuse in front and behind the servo and wrapped a tie...

Gothca. I have a all composite Dagu Red that a club member gave me about a year ago. Want to get it in the air but its designed around a 40 two stroke glow and I just haven't had the energy to tackle converting it to electric.

I got rid of all my glow stuff as well. I have the opposite opinion. While yes that was a dumb thumb I tend to stay low. When your low and you dumb thumb it in there is much less energy that gets transferred to the plane over if you have built up some speed before meeting tera firma. Check out...

When I say take a hit this is what I'm referring too. While yes I titled the video I killed a mojo 40 in reality I replaced the broken prop and was flying again in five minutes. This is built stock. There is something to be said about a stick built fuse with a tube in it as it allows the fuse to...

None of the ARF profiles can take a hit. all plywood that just shatters on impact. Stick built with a TUBE is the way to go for a profile.
