Round cowls do make that project a little more complicated.

The Krill Ultimate isn't too hard to assemble, but of course I'm not the one doing it, I'm just a spectator.

If I wasn't too lazy to assemble a biplane at the field I'd own one of those.

I was looking through the Carolina Custom Kits list and I see they're using a picture of my Bridi UFO. There are a few companies selling that kit and at least two of them are using pictures of my airplane. I wonder if they would give me a discount on one for that. LOL.

Discussion The I’m Going/Went Flying Thread

We had our 2nd Annual Jet Flyin Saturday. The wind scared a lot of people off, but we ended up having a great day and lots of fun. It was mostly EDF's but there were 4 turbine powered foam jets there. They were all converted Freewing EDF airplanes, and they sure were impressive. A guy from a...

A friend of mine was cutting wing cores for his racer back then and gave me a set. The rest was designed on the fly. I might have drawn it up, but it was 25+ years ago so I really don't remember. I do know the airfoil is basically semi flat bottom at the root and symmetrical at the tip.

    Hello from Illinois

Back in the day the Byron F16 was pretty popular. You saw a lot of those and their Mig15. The power systems in early Byron's were marginal at best. Byron's differed from the others because they put the engine in front of the fan and used a big cheater hole to take in extra air. They were the...

I took this thing for a spin yesterday. I haven't flown it since the first time I tried it on 4S and cooked the ESC 3 or 4 years ago. I flew it on 3S yesterday and it's reasonably fast, but as soon as I get the right prop I'm trying it on 4S again. I scratch built this over 25 years ago for...

Evidently the Eastside club was down to about 25 members and with COVID the school didn't want any non school related activity on their property.
