Scale 1/3 Scale Extra 330L Build.

Here are photos of an Extra 200 that I modeled some time ago. You can see the fairing provides a radius on the top of the stab that blends the vertical into the horizontal to center of the leading edge, the bottom appears to be sharp angle.

My tail didn't look as good as the real one however. The radius porvides a very nice feature. Would be a pain to cover however.

Thanks for the pictures definitely show a small radius on the top and square on the bottom. But what I also noticed is the plane in the photo does not have counter balance but the plane I am building does have counter balance on the elevators. Thanks anyway.
What size is the plane you build and who was the manufacturer. Nice looking plane.

Depends on the specific variant of Extra, some do and some don’t have counterbalances.

Made two new S1 ribs so that the stabilizers can bolted to the fuselage from the side. Will glue them to the stabilizers tomorrow and then try to get some sheeting done I hope.

If I Amy ask a question I am really slow at building and I use wood as much as possible so things take a little time. Hopefully you are not loosing interest. Or should I just post bigger changes and advancements to much detail.

Just take your time. Quality handcraftsmanship is a lost art these days. And when it is done your going to say "That went faster than I thought" .
