Damn I'm hungry
The plane weight is 8lbs 8oz ready to fly on fuel. What I get from most of the threads that a 20cc plane should weigh less than 8 lbs. ideally a 20cc should be 7-1/2 lbs I will never get it that low. I do not think I could get down to 8 lbs.
The engine is a OS GT22 with a pitts typ muffler.
My Skyline Edge weighs 11 pounds and 72" WS with the RCGF26 and pitts muffler. It flies really well and does not wing rock like other smaller gassers but man it was built so light as an electric the engine wants to shake it apart. I'm always having to check the airframe for popped joints or cracked wood after flying. I'm thinking your plane is a bit more durable and a flight stabilizer such as the Aura8 would make it an awesome performer with the 26. I don't use the Aura in mine because it is so stable already but the guy I got it from did (Originally built the plane for him) and it did do much better on very windy days. Does your Edge have a built in beam mount or is it separate?
