Seat/Servo cover Assembly.

I did find this part fun. Kind of a no-brainer... BUT I have to love the engineering that went into this. Since I used to work on the full scale DHC-2 I remember having to frequently remove and install the rear seats to accommodate lots of cargo. They interlock into the cabin floor in a similar fashion. Brought back some memories seeing these!





Also put together the door magnets. It was at this time I found out that my liners were not lined up very well. I will need to do some trimming to make the doors fit the fuselage

My final post for the night and it’s a good one too.

It has been one exactly one month since I have started this build.

So here is a photo of everything together that I have accomplished in four weeks!!! Wow!

Ok ok, I’ll get the cowl too!

Please note the 1lb bottle of Lysol is not only for scale reference but a reminder that this was a quarantine build ha ha!

Tomorrow is a 14hour day with just me and my 6m old as mamma goes to work at the hospital. So night night!!!

Cowl and WingTips are Fiberglass.

It will be covered in ultracote.

Just needed a shot with something round up front!! My bad!

Painted the canopy hatch and seats/servo covers.
Note that I added a little gusset in the hatch lower corner for some added strength as it wasn’t a very tight joint without glue.

Got the door fuselage magnets in place. Would have been easier to align all of them with the doors in place. Also the fuse magnet holder is pretty flimsy. I added some extra material for support. Kinda wished the door frame magnet holder was tied into the bulkhead mechanically.

Note I had to trim the door liners to fit properly. Should have fitted them in place with the door in the jam.
