Here is a pic of me not following directions an pictures. This fuse skin need to fit inside the doubler #1.

Bunch of visual progress on the fuselage. Looking back I wouldn’t use epoxy on the whole motor box assembly. It was frustrating to clamp and ended up not having very tight joints. If you can clue separate seams at a time And later going over it with epoxy you’ll end up with a better finish.

Planning on a 60cc version some time in the future. I've already scaled up the outer shell in the CAD appropriately. Works out to exactly 50% bigger than the 20cc version.

Welcome to GSN David!
I’m thoroughly enjoying watching this kit go together.
@AKNick is making great progress in a short amount of time!

Photo dump!

Here is the reason once again to wait to glue the BLKHD #1 in place until the Fuselage side are in. I was able to cut the slot open and reglue it in place.

Wing Tube fitted, added some 30min epoxy to the tube right before it enters the cutout, twisted to evenly coat the glue around the tube and then pressed into place.

added accelerator the skin in the curved locations per the manual to press and cure into place quickly.

Oh boy, adding glue!

Glueing this piece last as the curve will need some special attention.

Onto the top skin. Note that there is some etched lines in the skin for lightening holes. I had to ask David is this was missed or what. Turns out the prototype had them cut all the way but was left out for production due to keeping the scale appearance better. I elected to cut out the aft/larger section, and leave the forward piece intact as that's where the beacon will end up if I decide to put one in. FWIW I weighed the equivalent amount of ply and it comes out to about 1.4oz. so not much, but with the added supports I was adding for my robart pins I decided to remove at least something!

This step left a lot for the imagination in the ink manual. The online color manual I was able to blow it up and see what I was supposed to do. My illustrations are self explanatory, but basically just keep the LE glued down/cured and then glue the aft section down as in curves with the airfoil.

I did end up adding some micro balloons with 5min epoxy to the wing tube prior to gluing the skin in place.

Lastly I laid out the bulkheads and dry fitted everything. I'm going to leave this all for tomorrow with a fresh mind... sleeping and this posting stuff takes a long time!!!
Note that the earlier kits you need to ream out the tail gear guide tube support holes before gluing these in place as the dia is smaller than the supplied rods.

Doing a nice job, that does not look like a walk in the park, but it does looks like a nice well thought out kit just have to follow the instructions carefully and assemble as much as you can before gluing.

I am a little stuck. Cannot get rid of some wicked frame twist. I don’t understand how it could be this bad.

Everything has been taped, twisted by hand and taped, the only thing that gets rid of most of it if I don’t have the top skin on. Then I can twist the tail level to the wing tube.

I’m stumped. Production level is down a day.
