Blue recognition stripe went on great, used a sealing iron around the Landing light cutout.

Mist blue monokote pin strip added... really makes it pop! Had to throw the wings on...

Today marks the one year anniversary when this build thread was started as I glued my first piece of balsa together. Still lots to do, but decided it required a photo shoot outside since it wasn’t raining/snowing. Keep in mind I pretty much didn’t touch this plane during the summer flying season.

Watching this thread, I know the build has not been easy, but hope the result is worth the trouble.
This is one stunning model from the photos, which can’t possibly don’t do it justice. Must be even better in person!!

I think any scale model is a challenge. This is much more challenging than I anticipated. I’m going to build a couple quick kits after this plane for a confidence boost. The level of detail is great. The whole plane brightened up once it got outside too.
