I do have a question, why would you run these powerful servos in a 50cc airplane?

They were intended to go in to a 35% or 40% 3D model when I first got them. Larger planes have become somewhat difficult for me to manage these days for numerous reasons both public and private. I had them on hand so in they went . Also the extra has HUGE control surfaces (it is actually a 60/70cc model) and these servos do not permit any blow back what so ever at any position they may be in.
Getting it to wind up in a ball on the KE is no problem. Very exciting to see it in the air.

Ya , your not going to run out of power . I am using two for elevator on a common push rod, two on rudder with cables, and one each on aileron

I bought two of them for a 150cc 3D plane and I only installed one on the rudder. Flew the plane for a season and sold the plane with the servo. One left a friend was building 50% cub, the servo when to the cub for rudder control.

All I know about the gear train, is the final gear is helical, and we all know what that means, long life

All hardened steel gears too! (except motor pinion. It's brass ). First reduction gear and motor pinion are helical as well. Locks in the intermediate gears for slop free operation and aids position holding.

Replaced the proamp servos , here you see for the elevator which is the one on the video, and the other is the rudder

trial fitting the instrument panels , and adding pilot lights. The front panel is not at its place, yet a bit more work to be done in this department but getting there

Crazy beautiful. If it weren't for the size, it could easily pass for the real thing.
