It was geometry that got me with the cam over. The servo was fine. Just don't follow the manual and I will be fine.

MHO- no need for "sick" throws. I get a lot of performance out of what may be considered high, but not sick. I could do more but never feel the need. Walls, elevators, crankshafts, KE loops are all fine. Just sayin.

I realize that elevator servo mounting caused the issue. There was an addendum to that manual I think that corrected that. My Laser elevator is similar. Not as bad but close.

I finally maiden the Extra....what a pleasure this bird is to fly. I thought Aeroworks 260QBL, 30cc was a good flying plane...it doesn't come close to the EF 300. I'm really happy with how close I was able to get the prop washer to the cowl. Real nice tight fit. The VVRC 40cc was hard to start but after I put five tanks though it, it is an amazing motor.

Congrats! The plane looks awesome! Hope I can pick one up this summer.

Looks great. You are going to love it! It only gets better the more you fly it.

No addendum. Look at page 24 in the manual and you will see the picture that I followed.

I can't wait to get V2 on the bench.

Don't remember where I heard that. Well, you know not to do it that way again.

Could you guys share what happened? I have mine setup per the manual but I am using longer 1 3/4" arms and 70mm turnbuckles (stock are 60mm) I'm getting tons of throw without getting even close to binding or any geometry problems.
