Here ya go @Hinckley Bill, plug cap to plug cap is 12-3/4". In the pic the left side appears to be much closer and it is but not as much as it look's, room to pull the cap off.
Here is that very short flight.
It came with a split cowl and nicely done at that. As for baffling, I don't even know if it will be needed yet, the heads are right up to the inlet. But if it will need it I think the conventional is the best as it directs the air around the head, never been a fan of the plate style.Looks Great . Since you split the cowl are you going to run a "plate" style baffle or more conventional ducting? I would go with the plate style.
P.S. Nice save!
Thanks snoop. And being the oddball that I am when things go wrong like this it does not bother me in the least. But come a good, full power available, take off as soon as it makes the first turn and I know everything is ok I will lose it. I will start shaking badly, get short of breath, feel kind of light headed, land and go sit down, kick back, and smoke a half pack of reds!!! What a hobby!!!!Nice recovery well done. Not easy to do on your first flight and do not even know the plane or trimmed.
It needs some big Team EPG Skullys on there!Hey guys, I could use your opinions. I really felt at the time the added graphics were quite sufficient and I don't know if I am just getting use to it or what but it just look's like something is missing. What do you guy's say, add a few more, leave as is and if I add more where should they go?
You wanna offer a couple for the fin/rudder I would not refuse. It needs some big Team EPG Skullys on there!
Btw, beautiful field.
