Scale Bud Nosen 1/4 Scale Cub?

I was too lazy to post about the coincidence when I noticed late last night. Or rather too close to falling asleep. I'll work all day on my Cub today.

Before I can get too serious with the getting after the door, I needed to finish up a few things. I added the upper fuse strips and got them all sanded down, as well as the forward fuse sheeting. I decided not to wet a large piece of 1/8" balsa sheet, and deal with all the cracking while trying to form it around the curves. I went with a shiplap style of covering forward fuse and it worked out good. I also used a denser grained balsa strips for more strength on this area, as there's no 1/4 x 1/4 stringers underneath.

Got the bottom front corners sanded down and cleaned up the front end today. Now I need to clean my room again.

Knife edge and knife edge slips are really fun with a Cub. I'm trying to model this one after the Super Cub! PA18 maybe??
