And so the painting festivities begin. Put some primer on various parts today including the cowl. Tomorrow I hope to turn some of these parts Daytona White. The cowl, spinner and landing gear bungie covers will get turned Pontiac Red possibly on Monday along withe the fuselage. It is hard to see but there are a dozen or so aluminum fairing strips screwed down to the plywood. Seems backwards but I have a plan! There are so many small parts it is driving me crazy!

Went flying yesterday, didn't get much done, maybe today.

Put some Pontiac red on today. Will leave it cure a few days before moving on to the white. Just might mask off the champ N numbers next. I manged to put my behind into the cowl while painting the fuselage, hopefully I can color sand it out

Next the white top of the fuselage will get paint as well as a few details on top of the red. Once the white is completed a few details of red will get added to the white.

I’m absolutely doing a red/white scheme as well. I think I found my red color.
