I sent you a little info on the benefits plans. Did you get it? There is more info than that but it gives you an idea.

Pretty straight forward build if you have the elevator pushrods after market ready, and use the elevator pushrods for the ailerons. I always start with the hinging and horns. Be careful, there are a set of horns in another bag that you need. Don't use the short ones.

Man I used the short ones on my ailerons! I hope I don't have any issues. I'm using 1.5" arms on the ailerons and 1.75" in the elevators.

Haven't got any after market pushrods either. I've been reading about them not being long enough but haven't got to that part. Oh well, it's not like I'll be flying this thing any time soon anyway.

Patrick warned me on the horns. The short ones don't line up over the hinge gap. I think I need 1.75" arms to get maximum aileron deflection, so maybe the short ones were intended for what you did. Kind of confusing where there is a extra set in the other bag.

To be honest, I just got the longer elevator pushrods from my previous cam over with the 78 and did not try the stock configuration. The long ones worked perfectly on the ailerons, so the short ones would be tough to get to work.

So what exactly do I need to buy to get the optimum performance and throw. Do you have a link to the push rods, and what arms do I need?

My build is going to be a while. I need servos and a Fiji tank.

This is what I used with a 2" arm to get the throw I got. To be honest I only used my "mid" rate which is like 60 degrees. Most of my high pitch moves are using down elevator which is limited by the horn hitting the stab. The 2" did get it to a point that it won't cam over easily as it hits the bevel. I am also using 7954s which are overkill. I almost went with Savox 2273s which are even more power.

Azhar will have 2" arms soon so if it will be a while I would wait for those. SWB is a quality choice as well. There are HK copies I have used as well in other planes. Also Azhar sells M3 tapped versions so you won't have to change any hardware. I actually just ordered 1.75" arms for my ailerons to get a little more throw in the hover as I am not bevelled out with 1.5" arms. I used a 4.5" arm from him as well for the rudder using the 4" position which is what is specified in the manual.

Cool, thanks for the link. I have some of those that I picked up a while back. Isn't it possible to get more throw in a control surface if you gap the seam a little?
