Nice job! Mikey like. When out flying yesterday and one of our members put in three planes. Went back this morning and his friend was there, I ask him "Where's Jim, did he run out of ammo?" He laughed and told me the only thing that bother him was that he couldn't find parts for the nose wheel on his 60 sized Piper Cherokee. We talked a little and I told him to call Jim and tell that I offered to make the parts if possible. Jim arrived at the filed in about 1/2 hour and gave me the gear. It's a little clunky looking but fully functional. Took about three hours, I was hoping to use 1/2" aluminum plate but I had already had used it up so I had to mill 1 1/4" round bar down to size, made a lot of chips!View attachment 121170
Built a dovetail attachment for my Starrett 711. I think it's going to be a great addition to my indicator!
