I went to my downloads and looked at the great Merlyn Graves wing lock design and figured out how to use it myself.

First a piece of brass tube bigger than the wing bolt and a washer sized for the 4-40 bolt. Silver solder the 2 and sand the washer to tube size.

Anyway, I drilled out the spar and locking tubes for a 4-40 bolt then over drilled the spar slightly with 1/4" bit. I will cut the brass tube flush with wing skin and then I will have a pocket for easy field mounting.

Gotta come up with a better idea. No way am I laying on my back to fit these up inside the cabin. Even if the cross braces weren't already in the way.

Currently I have the spar bracket bolted, not soldered and the wing bolts entering from the front. I can't find any removable windshield designs so need another idea.

I have found it easier to put the Champ on the nose while accessing the interior. The batteries and switching under the front seat.
I enjoyed following Merlyn's builds as well. There is a fellow over on RCG rebuilding his Starship, don't know if you had seen it? He is taking pounds out and different airfoil.
