This is what I ended up with. After fiddling with bracket and supports and sponge and flaps so that the air tanks would stay in place and not rattle it looked like a mess and not workable over the long run, and was, starting to get heavy. Scrapped that and build a box from 1/16 balsa. Made the just so that the air tanks could be slid in and out. Best of all it turned out less weight than all the supports and sponge. That does not happen often.

Interesting nobody asked how did I get the air tank box in.
Am I giving to much details or not enough let me know, or just carry on as is.

Ok I am really starting to get to the last of my balsa wood, look at the picture the price for a sheet of balsa wood. Today I am paying over $6.00 a sheet today. It would be interesting to know when it was purchased.

Did some number crunching and I believe I need 10.2mm motor spacers. Made them up and see how it all works out. Need the spacers to be able to get the engine in out of its location this will become apparent later on in the build.

I would like to know how you pulled off that trick!
Unfortunately I did not find the trick. After I had built the air tank box and you are standing in front of the plane then you all of sudden realize you cannot get the air box into the plane. You feel so foolish At that time. So no I had to remove a lot of bracing to get it in and then put the plane back together. Not fun. .

Well nothing to report just cannot get the rods and setup to work for the choke and the throttle servo. They are in a awkward position right in the bottom of the fuselage no space to work. Hopefully tomorrow I will come up with a workable solution.
