Dan, I had both the 71 and 70 in gas and electric and was able to balance with two elevator servos in the tail.

I may still have an unused joiner that i could send you(i have to look).

You could probably use a piece of fiberglass laminated bass wood as a joiner

I tried a 2nd elevator servo in the tail of my 70 slick and it was SUPER tail heavy. I couldn't move stuff forward far enough. YMMV.

I have plenty room to move stuff forward but I would rather get a new joiner. I hope someone has one.

Can't you just make one? I'd use ply. Laminate some together if needed. You could coat the whole thing in epoxy. I'm guessing that would be just as strong as the original. It wouldn't take that long to make and you could have it done tomorrow ;)
