Truth be known it is always that "desire" to top your last flight that seems to get me in trouble. I was exhausted from working on a friends motor in this stinking heat and I should have just packed it in for the day. Sweat was burning my eyes and this fat boy could not even breath a sigh of relief from all that wet sticky humidity. Ugh! I think I'm done until fall unless some "miracle" day shows up.
I've been skipping the late eve flights with buddies, just because of the heat, and humidity

Damn I'm hungry
Hey all. I'm not a Puss!.....Just a Fat Bastard who dirt naps:happy:.

Now in my own defense........That was the worst dirt napping I have done in over 7 years. Even though I was not really fond of the flight characteristics I hate losing a plane to my own stupidity. It had its good points too but not a solid flyer like my Pilot Edge!
I know a guy who just finished the new 35cc EF Edge. Hope to see him fly it soon. Other than the EF 78" extra I personally just do not like the flight characteristics of these 30cc size airframes for low and slow 3D work. They can turn on you like a jealous wife!

Im Gona fly the tires off tomorrow I am planning a whole day around flying both AM then home to rest and then PM flights.... Just wanted to share that with all :yesss:
If I get back early enough from a short out of town trip to pottery country, to buy my 93 year old mothers B-day present, I may join you in the pm. I want to "Glow Tard" the yak before I finally retire from the glow business.:LOL_gif: If not see you and @ChickenBalls over the weekend!

We're supposed to be in the high 80's with low humidity around here all weekend for a change. So I'm going to take full advantage of it. My flying Buddy is going to be out for the first time this year and I hope he brings his 35% Carden Extra out with him. That thing is a freaking beast with the 3W110 CS under the cowl. . . . :yesss:

Me, my son, Herb, and @emtp275 got out this morning for a few flights. Herb is really loving the longer flight times on his Escapade now that it's gas. I'm going to go ahead and order up some MG servo's, and battery, and get started with converting the Stick to gas. @mulehead1969 has a DLE 20 we will purchase off him, to finish her off. Pic of my son Jacob, and @emtp275 this morning, can't believe he stayed out the whole flight with Justin, so time to get his trainer out, and get him started flying again.
