I arrived at my "secret" strip at 8:30 am and it was 34 degrees. But sunshine every where and no wind to speak of. By the time everyone got there (9:30-10:00) my coat was off and I was in a t-shirt too! I think we hit a high of 55 but it felt like 65.
Could not have asked for a better day of weather. Engines and props and planes loved it too!

Sounds a lot like the day here!

Made it out yesterday -2c 5 k wind for some flying and fishing with the family. It helps when the owner of pro-rc has a private stocked fish pond lol

@Bhughes if you really want to impress us, you need to tie the line to the rudder of the plane and pull the fish out with the plane

This is flight number 5 or 6 on a 100% brand new everything setup. This is how we roll up north. The pond is the recycled water from the fish farm aka poop water lol

You guys have the Minnesota buzzards also Saw a lot of them in the video of Lorne tail dunking

I thought only Texas had skeeters the size of buzzards?

Usually your fine unless you walk in the tall grass. In the fall out problem is hornets up here they swarm like the skeeters when it gets cold out. Their lazy and dumb

Made it out today had a mini funfly 7 pilots and one band aid. 0 Celsius felt warm to me lol
