I too like the schemes like Clint's 230 and most of the first mid wing 300's, simple, graphic, easy orientation when flying.

Pompano Air Center The model in the photo was of Clink McHenry's Extra 230. Originally the black was supposed to be dark blue, but the friend I painted it for thought the basic colors of red, black and white looked better together, and I agree.
