Slapped an OrangeRX in the Grasshopper tonight. Got it bound, finished installing the servos and did some preliminary radio programming. Biggest job left to do is painting and installing the cowl. Still trying to decide if I'm going to glue on and paint the dummy engines. Also have to install the battery tray and mount the speedo and RX. Oh and the wing braces. Ugh. Seems like a lot for such a small simple little kit.

Next on my building list is a couple Twisted Hobbies foamies. I have a 32" Laser Lite with carbon upgrade kit and a 39" Crack Yak with carbon upgrade kit. Both of those will be getting some led lights as well.:way_to_go:

One project tonight didn't go as planned. My wife's iPhone hasn't been staying charged as long as it should. So I ordered a new battery for it. Well, I was 100% certain that her phone was a an iPhone 5s. Turns out it is actually an iPhone 5. The battery fit but the connector was different. No problem, I'll just slap the old battery back in till a new one arrives. Only problem is, I fubar'd the old battery prying it out of the phone. Whoops.:p Needless to say, she'll be without a phone for a few days till the correct battery arrives.

It looks like the 550 will live to fight another day. I still have a couple of things to do and then run through the FBL programing to make sure everything is still good then it's ready. I've got a new canopy, but it's not going on till after the test flights.

My workbench looks like it blew up!

I just did the battery in my daughters 5S last weekend. I'm not sure if the 5 is the same but on the 5S they used removable double sided tape which is nice! I did not use removable tape when I put the new one in. Funny thing, the replacement battery had some black tape on it, I removed it and it said Apple underneath... wonder if its an apple reject or something. Works great and only $15 shipped for the battery off Amazon.
