Not the post man, but it was unwrapped on the 25th. This is a tiny lathe kit, and will help me develop my machining skills. I'll be following Joe's build videos. Can't wait to get started, but first, more tooling.

Joe did a magnificent job on his. I don't think I'll come anywhere close to his perfection. I spent about 2 and a half hours last night on one handle and it still needs work.

I think this is a good place to post this project. It is going to be a learning experience for me mostly. I don't have much experience in fabrication, so this project should expand my horizons. It's a mini engine lathe kit from PM Research, and they have a lot of other small kits to choose from...

Well the postman eventually showed up it arrived a couple of days ago, I have opened the box the fuselage came in. It is an AJ Laser 115. It twice as big as thought it would be. Maybe I made a mistake just cannot get over how big it is.
Thinking of just doing some up dates as it gets built on what have you done in the workshop.

I've owned my 3.1m Sukhoi for years and still just stare at it sometimes wowed by how big it is.
