    Haha so true. I went through a few rolls of tape and a complete roll of wax paper. Looking at yours make me want to do another one, I already miss the building and with one done now I know how to really do it better and faster. Looks good:)

    My shop is a mess, I have been going full speed on this thing and I can't find my instruction book anywhere. I remember reading balance with the wings off but cannot remember if its on the tube or???? Rick and Terry, any special balance issue/tips is should know? Thanks guys:)

    Ok here is where I am. I need to do a final tightening of the covering but I am mostly finished with the covering. I used one of my favorite factory scheme's but added some custom trim. Eric at BandE made the Slick 540 decals and as usual it's fantastic work. I still need to do two more colors...

    I used my table saw also. Just set the angle and go slow. I put a fan behind me because the dust from the soft balsa goes everywhere especially in my face. I open the garage door and blow it outside a I cut.

    Prepped and primed the first coat on the cowl and canopy today. I started with 180 grit and then 220. I used a wax and grease remover before spraying. I will sand and spot fill tomorrow before spraying one last primer coat. I do not anticipate much need for to much spot putty as the glass work...

    It's funny but I actually kind of like the drive. Seeing the country is nice and it's almost therapeutic getting to unwind on the drive. I take the southern rout on 20. Can't wait to catch up with everyone again.

    I would love a 25 hour drive. If that's what I had I would go straight threw. I have 4 days 12-13 hours and a half day. We leave on Sunday May 3rd to get there by Thursday if we don't have any problems. Then I have to turn around and do it going home. It's a three week event for me and almost...

    One year I slept in my trailer. What a great time I had, I never slept LOL. If I had to I'd do it again. And ya Sleepy there are NO bad spots as long as your on the TT grounds.
