Both on the graphics. I worked with Eric today at B and E. to make a couple things but I am trying some basic creative stuff myself to go with it. Oh and I will be following the Ultimate build!

I love that dermal attachment. This was the first plane I used it on. I sure wish we had these tools available 3 years ago. I used your suggestion and soldered an old bit on a brass tube and made two small holes at the end of the phenolic tubes, works great now. I am having better luck with...

Terry I am at a much lower temp than I use with monokote and it looks good for about 10 minutes and then I get a little wrinkling but a little more heat and it's fine. Should I be using warmer temps?

Thanks Bipenut that's what I was thinking. Never heard of the hairspray that sounds interesting I may experiment. Terry, that's mostly what I do. The only reason I ask is Ultracote tends to wrinkle up once after heating it but the second go over fixes it usually. Thanks guys

Looks good. That's what I did. When you glue the plug end in the phenolic I suggest drilling a pin hole in the plug. I am having a difficult time putting my wings on. The tube fits perfect but there is no way for the air to escape and the wing wants to shoot off. I need a very loooooong 1/16"...

Late night last night, got the basic colors on the stabs and one wing. Looking good so far. I was wondering if you guys use Balsarite or any other wood coatings before covering? I use it only around the engine area or difficult curves. If so do you use it on everything? Due to our tree hugger...

I am using cans. I always use cans do to the smooth transition it gives me. Plus it's just less annoying of a sound screaming around the sky. I use Prow Flow cans, they have the best transition throttle response and Dave stands behind his products with great customer support. They are made here...

Well I've started. I completely vacuumed and use the air hose to clean the shop. Picked up some tack clothe on the way home today and cleaned all the wood. I have an idea of a scheme in my head but I am no good at drawing so I just have to wing it. I guess we'll see how it goes. I have covered...

Looking very nice and yes, sure sounds like you got a lot done! Are you going to do counter balance's on the stabs and wings? I have done them on both and the wings were a little more difficult. Not sure I would do them again on the wings. After all the sanding I think I am going to build a...

So much flying time it cuts into my building time:fist_pump: But last night I finished the wings and cut out the ailerons. Of course I'll be flying all weekend so on Monday I will hinge the ailerons, put the plane together and look everything over. Do some final sanding and filling some small...

Forgot to mention, I used Loktite Hysol to glue the canopy. It's slow drying but very strong and binds well with plastic to wood.

I got some time today to get some work done on mine. I finished up the canopy and hatch. It all came together very nice and fits up near perfect. I wish ARF's came with the canopy fitting so well. Started getting to servo wires ready to pull threw the fuse. Tail is complete. Wings are sheeted...

I had the 100cc Pilot Edge and flew the living life out of it for over 400 flights until it expired at Nall two years ago. One of my favorite 100cc planes.

Looking good! I have not touched mine in almost three weeks. Been flying 3 days a week and went to Yuma to fly in the air show for the weekend. Hopefully this week I will start making the sanding dust fly.
