The NEW King of Standard Size Servos - HSR-M9382TH

I remember @Terryscustom doing some of his own testing on the 9380 on his Facebook page and was very impressed with the holding power and low power usage.

    RC Airplane Memes

Back in the 80's 4 stroke props were shooting everywhere at our field. Of course if I had a nickel for every time I spun the prop and spinner off a cold 2 stroke glow engine on a cold day years ago I'd have a small fortune.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I went out to the field Saturday and helped on the pavilion project. I'm not a ladder kind of guy so I figured I should go help when they were cutting sheet metal on the ground. We had a good crew of guys working and got a lot done. We stopped because it was getting windy and one of the next...

I’m going out flying thread 2019

I went flying yesterday. Unfortunately I believed the weather guessers when they said a 20% chance of spot showers. I packed up early when I saw the clouds of doom, but I got rained on most of my 35 minute trip home. The last ten minutes it was pouring so hard the wipers couldn't keep up. I had...

Football has been totally ruined for me and it is doubtful I will ever watch another game. The closest I will get, is Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Making The Team. :yesss:

    Awesome Video Thread

It's been a bit since I've checked in on this thread. You would think since I started it, I'd check more often. I love this video. I just flew one of these with a DA200 Sunday. I blew some covering off the bottom of my Edge on the second flight of the day, so my buddy Tony took pity on me and...

I've been sanding wings and stabs for the Ultimate the last several nights. Every time I work on the top wing I keep thinking I'd like to meet the guy that decided it was a good idea to make a 91" one piece wing and hit him with something heavy. ;)

    Scale Byron Glasair Build

Thanks! I bought this P-51 at a club auction and have yet to even look at it. I brought it home sat it down and so far that's been it. It's never been flown, but it's decades old.

    Yippee! What the postman brought

I've heard the Havoc is pretty cool. My buddy Tony wanted to buy one, but he is allergic to electrics. He has a 90mm Stinger from Freewing, but I have to charge all the batteries for him because he refuses to learn. A few weeks ago he plugged a 6S 5000 onto my parallel board when there was...

Ouch! Since I am now the proud owner of a Byron p-51 with plug in wings, is there anything I need to know just to be on the safe side?

Not much work going on in the shop lately, but I did buy some carts with drawers and wheels from Amazon to try and get rid of some of the mess.

I’m going out flying thread 2019

My club started a construction project last Friday. We're putting up a 24' x 80' pavilion. They got an amazing amount of work done Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. There are some very hard working guys in this club, and they usually get a good turnout for project days. My knees, back, and ladder...

Help! LiPo voltages at different stages ?

I run a pair of 2S 5000mah Pulse LiPo's for the receiver on my 35% Extra, (yes I know its over kill, but they were free). I have left them fully charge for a week a few times, but most of the time they sit at 80% or so since that's all they drop to after 4 flights. they seem to be holding up...

Help! LiPo voltages at different stages ?

Is this a typo? From everything I've read, 80% is like 4.06 volts and 3.75 volts would be about 40% just wondering.

Yes they are V2 tanks. I did have the fill line fall off inside the tank on one, but I was using some really old CA at the time that I knew was sketchy, but I used it anyway. I redid it with fresh CA and it's been fine ever since. The vent tubes in mine were fine.
