    I recall looking at these a couple of years ago and was totally blown away by the incredible planning, design, and craftsmanship that went into it. Haven't seen anything recently on it, but would assume that it continues to win any scale event entered. Really took it to another level!!!!!!!!!!

    Well....I run my piped DA150 for 15 minute flights on a 64oz Ocean Spray juice bottle. Still have about 1/4 tank left. I wouldn't want any less as i like to fly when I get her up there! I have no experience with 4-cyl engines, but would assume a 300cc would burn roughly double what a 150...

    In my opinion they're all a waste of money....even the AMA rag gets about 10 minutes before it goes in the recylce as well. The web provides all I need to read, learn, etc.

    OK....my Dad taught me to fly in this L-16 (Military version of the Aeronca Champ. Little 65hp Continental.....sumbitch would barely climb with 2 of us on a hot summer day! But ya sure did learn seat-of-the-pants flying!!! He was not a licensed instructor, but I did "unofficially" solo in it...

    Welcome!!! I use whatever high octane available when I stop for gas. To be honest I've never experienced any difference in ethanol free vs the blended stuff. Also running Red Line at 40:1 in my DA150, going into its 4th season with me and runs like a champ :fist_pump:
