    Covering Contest/Pilot 40% 122" Extra 330SC

I love the font on the 27 number a lot. It looks like it's going fast while sitting still.

20 pounds dry? Mere child's play.:lol2: I flew this with 90" span at 21.75 pounds dry on a DA50 with a can. Then there is this fat girl with a 90" span at 24.14 pounds dry with a DA50 and a tuned pipe. It's not a 3D plane, but you still need to land it.;) The last time out I got it a tad...

I've been flying JR/Spektrum DSM2 then DSMX for over 6 years and have never had any problems. I would bet the vast majority of brown outs were poor choice of batteries. I've never ran less than 6.6 volts through one and always dual batteries on the bigger airplanes. The Android on the IS12 does...

B&E has already made those watch graphics. There are several different versions of that scheme.

Congratulations! :fist_pump: No flying for me today, It was warm enough, and sunny, but a 20 mph wind. I'm struggling through a sinus infection and being out last Sunday in weather like this made it MUCH worse and I'm still paying for it.

The Android platform is interesting, but what I like most about it is the programing looks very simple. I like how you can setup templates, so when you do a new airplane all of your switches are already where you want them. I don't need a radio that can check my email, but being able to have PDF...

Man I wish I could say that. We don't get as much now as when I was a kid, but we still get way too much.

I think the pictures look better. 20 pounds sounds pretty portly, but who am I to talk, my Hangar 9 Extra 300X weighs over 30.;)

When winter first gets here you see a 48 degree forecast and you think, that's too cold to fly. Some time around mid January you see a 48 degree forecast and think, wow that's warm, let's go flying!

It was 70 here today, of course the wind was blowing about 30. In the 30s this weekend, burr.

I put what I'm betting is my last flight of the year in today. I took the Hangar 9 Extra out and by the time I put it together the wind was blowing pretty good. The flight was nice, but the landing got pretty sporty. More like kite flying than landing. I was fueled up to go again and I decided...

It was a gorgeous day today for December 2nd. I flew my Freewing Mig 21 for the first time since I installed a Lemon RC 7 channel stabilized receiver. I never liked how it felt in turns, it would drop the nose sometimes out of the blue. It just never felt solid and locked in. About a minute...

I'm pretty sure mine is the Fine Kerf Zona saw. If I remember I'll check tomorrow since I store it in the package.

There is always the old Extra 230 scheme. It's fairly simple, clean, but still looks great. Originally the dark color was dark blue, but we did this one in black.
