If your sliding on wood I bet you will be fine. Mine are on drawer rolling slides. Very little friction.

That's what im using now. Some drawers they work and some they don't. I installed them with the table top off so I could be sure they were fully seated. I have tools in some of the drawers and chargers and those are the ones that open on the road.

I installed drawer locks on mine but not strong enough. If anyone has good ideas for that, that would be awsome.

I have heard good things about those generators. However I already own both the harbor frieght generator and the Honda 2000 watt generator. I'm keeping the Honda in the garage for now.

Did a few extra things this wknd. Been getting my house ready for market but I had a few minutes to add a shelf for my 60"EF Edge. Plus I had to have a long conversation with myself on what generator to mount in my trailer. I have a harbor freight 800 watt 2 stroke generator and a Honda 2000...

I was uncertain how much I would use a radio in my trailer but I find I use it alot. Turns out to be a great investment.

Show us your cowl exit air pics

I've always ran tuned pipes with very little openings on both my Sukhoi and extras. I think the extras cool easier because of the smaller path for air. The Sukhoi was harder to get it right. Stihl HP ultra oil at 40 something:1. 1.8 gal for each bottle.

I know my H9 Sukhoi does not have 3:1. In fact I'm sure my cowl exit is less than intake. However it does create a low pressure zone and pulls air out. I just baffle the engine and that was it. My last flight on wed had a peak temp on a long full power Upline of 287F. 3:1 does not mean the...

Made a tail wheel support tonight. Cost about $10 at lowes. Hinges comes in a 2 pack and just used bar stock aluminum. Definitely saves the tail wheel.

Show us your IMAC transmitter setups

I have several conditions/flight modes in my JR 28X. For most flying I have a standard rate labeled "IMAC". For spins I flip my left switch on click and once that is completed I flip it back. On the right switch I have high rate rudder for hammers. However I have been finding I don't need to...

    Unbiased answer?

Dave (planebender) and Ken Crane are involved in the GP. Not sure who else is. GP does seem to have a global network now though.

    Unbiased answer?

Have you considered a GP123. A lot of good reports on that engine with crazy powere and one of the smoother running engines.

Yes I bought it at Lowes. In the shelving area. The other setup posted looks great also.

After starting to load it up I'm realizing that I may have more storage than I need. But I would rather have to much than not enough.

Other than some minor trim pieces and installing the planes the trailer is done.since the trailer is a V nose I had to modify the side drawers. Had to cut them down to 12" deep. I also thought it was important to install a first aid kit. Never know when it would be needed. Made sure it was...

ZDZ USA Is Bringing ZDZ Brand Back to the US! Whoo Hoo!

I'm sure it would depend on actual valve timing but you can more easily hold the valve closed a little longer to create a negative pressure in the case to cause a larger pull of fuel air mixture when the port does open. They are cool designs with power benifits. A slight negative would be more...

ZDZ USA Is Bringing ZDZ Brand Back to the US! Whoo Hoo!

Guess I'm to use to FG. I was trying to look at ZDZ before I bought my GP176. Always liked rotary valved engines. Heard about the power of the 180 too.

ZDZ USA Is Bringing ZDZ Brand Back to the US! Whoo Hoo!

Hopefully this post doesn't get way off track but a rotary valve engine does need a high quality oil to keep the rotary valve damage free. Seadoo had some of the strongest running engines because of the rotary valve design. But you needed to run their oil for best service life. in the late 90s...
