Best vehicle to transport Giant Scale

Thats funny about the flex. I love them and wife hates the look. But everyone I know that owns one loves it. You can do a lot with them. Just get the ecoboost version and you have your sleeper also.

Best vehicle to transport Giant Scale

If you like vans the new Ford transit van would be perfect. Just bought 7 of them for part of our emergency fleet. It is a 350 long with mid roof. Mega room, more than enough power with the 3.7L V6 and I was getting 17mpg at 75mph with one of them. As a comparison our standard height Chevy vans...

How does that 3.7L pull the trailer?

I like the rear speaker placement. Now I'm looking for a sub for my trailer. Time for some kick. Never realized until this year that a radio in the background is nice to fly to. Especially if your out there alone. Which is nice for practice and trim flights.

First 100cc and IMAC dedicated plane

Since you have a horizon option the H9 300 is a perfect IMAC plane. It tracks on rails, handles wind extremely well, snaps stop on a dime, it just does IMAC exceptionally well. It will 3D great but there are better pure 3D planes out there. Out of the few 35%ers I've flown and owned the H9 is...

    To drain or not?

I have never ran any of my small engines dry. Including my airplane engines. My chainsaw has not been started in at least a year and I can guarantee it will start up within 5 or 6 pulls. My weedeater and leaf blower started right up within 3 pulls this spring after sitting in outside storage for...

    Can you believe this guy?

There seems to be a lot of info missing from the story. If there were 2 small electric planes hovering that is a small foot print in the air. How could there not be any room to land a foam 60" airplane at the front or rear of the runway area. Or farther in front of them. I cannot get a grasp on...

    Can you believe this guy?

That is strange, I purchased what looks like the exact same plane with speed controller, motor, and servos from OMP for $285 at the Toledo show.

    Shout out to Aircraft International

Got home from work today and what did I find on my door step, that's right, part of my order already showed up today. the pilot head showed up in a few days. I ordered this think Friday at 5:30 PM. We are both on the same eastern time zone. Maybe my prop will get here sooner than was originally...

    Shout out to Aircraft International

AI seems to be a vendor that does not get talked about much. Not sure why but I was exceptionally happy with my experience with AI yesterday. First off he was the only vendor I could find that had a Biela prop. At least he showed in stock online. So I called hoping maybe he was open at 5:30PM...

Tuned Pipe Header Length and Prop Choice

If you go with a DA150, my personal choice would to not use the 29/12 3B or 31/12 2B. I used both on my 170 on RE3s and the 29/12 seemed to not have good performance from load so I suspect the 150 would be weaker. I did like the 31/12 on my old 150 and re3 combo and in cooler weather the...

    Futaba 18SZ

There is a common misconception that team members get free radios and servos. Maybe for a very small select few team pilots still have to pay for their equipment. But there is also a lot of work involved in that discount also when it comes to field support and even spending time on the phone...

Tuned Pipe Header Length and Prop Choice

I have a GP176 EVO on the plane bender smooth pipes. Right now I only have less than a gallon burned through the engine and it is an animal. The only prop I have flown with is a Mej 29/12 3B and it spins it at 6500 RPM on the ground after a 15 minute flight. I believe the Mej 30/13 was in the...
