Primo's are extremely easy to build... I've built two Mojo 25's, 2 Mojo 40's, and three Mojo 60's from the same designer. The Primo is easier than all of those. Profile planes are so easy to build, and the way Paul designs the wing construction, those are also really easy to build. You will have...

    3DHS and Extreme Flight Merger?

If you do facebook, the RedwingRC owners group has some pictures of it. Blake posted them up there.

    3DHS and Extreme Flight Merger?

Redwing actually has a 58" Extra prototype. bbrown2828 has one and is working on it right now, so I would say they are definitely interested in that market as well.

    3DHS and Extreme Flight Merger?

I'm very curious how the merger (if it happens and isn't a rumor) would play out as both companies design to different goals. Lately EF has really been ramping up their airframe selections, and I have been loving their planes. Their 64" and 76" MXS are incredible. And there is a reported 94"...

    Tech-aero IBEC question

yep. 13 is the latest. You don't get too much, xbus and the new 3 axis gyro support I think are the main things in the newer versions.

    Tech-aero IBEC question

Hey Aerosheldon, if you have a chance ask your buddy what firmware version he was running in his XG14... I just updated my radio, it was about 9 revisions out from current (version 13 is most recent on the XG11's right now). Hopefully I didn't just update to a version that has this problem...

    Tech-aero IBEC question

I was just curious on which protocol as this would be the first failure I have heard of with DMSS related to gas engine ignitions. I know that the original Hitec Aurora 9's had issues with it, but other than that I haven't read of any failures. I fly a DMSS radio, so I take special interest in...

    Tech-aero IBEC question

Yeah, the XG series are all DMSS. The 11x could be DSM2 or DSMX depending on whether it's been updated by Spektrum.

    Tech-aero IBEC question

I've got a JR XG11 and have three different gas planes all running tech aero's, no problems on any of mine. What radio was your buddy using Aerosheldon? DMSS or DSM?

    Brand New PAU........Viper-ST Announced!!!!!!!!

If I had room for 35% planes I would want one of these in a second. But 50-60cc is as big as I can go. So, as mentioned above, I'm hoping that Herve makes these in a 50cc size! Would love to have one. Beautiful plane, nice scheme. And different from everything else out there!

Jr americas 2 free receiver program

I look at limit adjusts as setting an absolute limit. For example, if you use your travel adjust to set an elevator to 30 degrees, but then you wind up with a mix getting setup also for something like knife edge, it would be possible that the elevator could deflect past the 30 degrees if you...

Jr americas 2 free receiver program

what updates are you guys talking about? Just the firmware updates? Those are definitely do-able yourself. I just took my XG11 from firmware revision 4 up to revision 13 last week. Easy process! Here is the link that has the process documents...

    The stick bangers thread

Was yours gas? Mine was electric, maybe I just didn't have enough speed on mine... or maybe my rudder servo was getting blowback. It was only a 7955 on 6 volts, so with a plane that size it's entirely possible that that was partially to blame for my poor pop topping 89. Though the same setup in...

    The stick bangers thread

What plane? Some just don't do them. Others seem to defy physics and do them with very little speed. The 3dhs 87" Extra for example excels at them. So does their Velox, and the EF 64" MXS does as well. But the big 3dhs 89" Slick stinks at pop tops, while the 104 does them nicely. The EF 78"...

    JR DMSS rpm telemetry

I really wish JR would come up with a way to use these rpm leads from the ignitions to report telemetry. It's one gap they have in their lineup that seems like it would be easy to solve. I would personally buy several of them if they were available.

A local guy here in Little Rock has a RTF 89" Slick (classic red scheme), and also a red scheme 87" Extra 330 for sale if you are interested. Prices are good, 1100 or so I think. The 87 has a low time EME60 on it, not sure what's in the 89. HS-7955's all around I think. I'll confirm if you are...

    The 3DRCForums -Discuss Anything Thread-

I have heard it said by many that the ideal setup is to have your servo travel in the 130-140% range in each direction. Usually servos stop moving somewhere around the 140-150% range, so this gets them moving as much as they can move without trying to move past the point that they stop. That...

Reza has been here for a week and he's already giving stuff away! RED LINE OIL!

Used to run Stihl Ultra based on everything I read, and then kept seeing people raving about Redline. Then I saw the DA video about Redline and I was sold. Switched all my engines to it, and have been happy as can be with the oil. Burns nicely and cleanly, and the motors seem to run just a bit...

I am glad to hear that, and not surprised either. Unfortunately I've never been to an EF sponsored (or attended) event. They are a bit too far for me to get to. Someday I would really like to attend some of their events.

    The 3DRCForums -Discuss Anything Thread-

Like you Enterprise, I go to events to fly. I don't go to dodge everybody else's plane the whole time. I have zero interest in going to the larger events anymore. Events where the team pilots are flying just about every minute of the day hold no interest for me at all. I understand wanting to...
