    3DHS 70" Velox

There isn't that much pressure on those wing bolts, I wouldn't worry about it. I imagine over time they will work themselves down. Just check them each of the first few flights and tighten the bolt if it's loose at all from the blind nut seating more.

    AJ 93" Laser on Q80

I've had a 3dhs 89" Slick on a Q80, and with 12s5300 setup I got about 6-6:30 minutes. It was way too short for my liking.

    3D Twisted Hobbies Mini MXS-C

Been thinking about getting one of these myself, have a few 32-34" EPP foamies, but our indoor spaces are quite small to fly in. I do fine with mine, but I do use pretty much all the space there is, which makes the guys flying Vapor's and such not so happy. Been thinking one of these might be a...

    3DHS 70" Velox

Here's a couple pictures I found on the rcgroups thread of what someone else did. Maybe they will help.

sbach's are a plane that seems to fly better and better the bigger they get. I've flown a couple of 30cc ones and not been a fan. Have also flown a 50cc one and like it pretty well. I think there are better 50cc planes out there for my flying style, but it flew well. Was actually wing rock free...

    3DHS 70" Velox

I hear you on the cowling fit. This is my second Velox, I sold my first one (the older 68" one) and it had absolutely no problems in these areas at all. Something changed on the 70" version, and the cowls don't fit anymore. I don't have a whole lot of idea what it takes to get a factory to make...

Ohio, how much are you looking to get for the plane?

    3DHS 70" Velox

On a gas setup I would bolt the canopy down. If not, at least make sure the pin is fully engaged and comes all the way through the canopy hole, sticking out a bit. Sometimes you have to grab the pin with needlenose pliers and GENTLY pull the pin forward so that it has more engagement. Don't pop...

    Extreme Flight 76/83" MXS

Your best bet may be to use a freight carrier for shipping, it will likely be in the 150 range. UPS might be up to 200. For me, in Arkansas UPS wanted about 140 to ship one to me. They list the box dimensions on their site if I'm not mistaken, you can go to UPS.com and calculate it up.

Hmmm... don't know what the temps were on the back of my cylinders, but the front was 185 about 5 minutes after it landed from the dead stick. So I figure the front was 200-210 in the air, and back of the cylinder likely 275+. Doesn't sound like that temp is too much for you, but I was having...

I do. Have one in a 3dhs 91" Yak 55. Have 4 tanks of gas through it now. It's turning a Falcon 24x9 carbon at about 6600 rpm, and still increasing on that. I don't have any baffling on the Yak, and that is proving to be a problem as it got a bit hot and dead sticked on me last weekend, resulting...

    3DHS 91" Yak 55

Buddy of mine made a composite picture from one of the flights of my Yak on saturday. Came out pretty cool!

    3DHS 91" Yak 55

Hmm, same prop I'm running. Getting about 6600 rpm out of it right now. Guess I'll pull the plugs and see if they look lean or not. I had to open the low speed needle a full 1/2 turn to get it to start the first time, so I sorta figured it would be rich. Transition was a smooth, though a little...

    JR XG11 and RG1131B Receiver

No xbus for me... my gas planes typically use the JR Powerbus RX: http://www.jramericas.com/233813/JRPR03428/?pcat=298 single rx, dual power inputs.

    3DHS 91" Yak 55

I haven't weighed mine yet, need to do that. Do you have any baffling on your Yak? Mine dead sticked on me today, first flight out. I got it down with no airframe damage, but did snap a leg of the landing gear. I was too high to make the runway and stuck it into a slip, and wound up getting off...

Is there any 50cc KITS that can do 3D??

depends on what 30cc you are talking about. The 3dhobbyshop 30cc planes are 70-74" in wingspan depending on the plane, and typically weigh in at about 10-11 lb. The ExtremeFlight planes are typically 74-76" wingspan (The MXS says 83, but that's with the tips on, without them as many fly it, it's...

    3DHS 91" Yak 55

Took mine up for it's maiden flight today, the EME70 pulls it very very well. Running up on the ground I was surprised how strong it felt. Was cranking a Falcon 24x9 carbon at 6500 rpms on the ground on the initial run, and is up to about 6600 now. Had to open the low speed needle 1/2 turn to...

    JR XG11 and RG1131B Receiver

The second antenna (ra-01t) is just telemetry. Put it anywhere. No need for a longer extension on it. I wouldn't put it near carbon fiber stuff or you will decrease the range of the telemetry stuff it has. I've had better luck with the ra-01 and ra-01tl ones than the ra-01t. The T doesn't seem...

    Hi everyone!

Good choice on going gas... I've had two 50cc electrics, and the 5:30 flight time just sucks. My old 64" MXS was getting about 6:30 on 3300 batts, and the plane flies better with the lighter batts. You will like it that way! DA60's vibrate a lot, that's the only drawback to that motor. I just...
