It's hard to say without seeing the email. The header info would tell the story.

Hmmm. You get some time off for farting in the brother-in-law/boss' face? :trance: What ever you do, enjoy it. Life is short bro.

    3D H9 1/3 Cap 232 - Blast from the past!!!

I did the same thing with the two H9 33% Sukhois I had. One of them is still in operation after countless flights and 5 owners.

    Ignition Switches

I don't use an ignition switch but I don't want to share/mix ignition power with RX power so I use a Smart-Fly optical ignition switch. Ignition is armed when the RX is powered and true optical isolation of the ignition components.

    DA 70 Twin Questions

Do it. The DA70 has proven to be an excellent engine. But then you come to expect that from DA. There was a little glitch with reeds but the mod is available @ N/C. IIRC they send you a new set and you clip the old ones off short to double up and stiffen.

    Was 3dhs email hacked

Hacked isn't really the proper term. Compromised is more accurate. All he has to do is change his email password. Hopefully, one of the recipients let him know. Pretty common with free email accounts.

    Da100L 3blade setup

To tell the truth, it was within the first dozen or so flights with the RE3s and by the sound it made I thought one of the pipes slipped loose from the coupler. Of course I went to idle and landed immediately so there was no damage. I did have a 24X10 and 25X10 3 blade Biela that were great and...

    Best fuel fittings

I took a chance on it a few years ago. It is much, much better than the standard Tygon tubing. It retains it's elasticity far longer and it's cheaper to boot. Win-Win.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Finished up Sukhoi #3. Retired #2 (seen under the counter) after 1000+ flights and planning to recover in my own scheme over the winter.

DA diaphragm vent questions and methids

Sometimes, with certain cowl configurations, you may need to run it in to the fuse. If there is no problem, there is no need to do it.

    2015 Basic Written Call Sheet

The caller can be involved as much or as little as you desire. Some will make sure the judges are ready and call "in the box" for you as well as calling each maneuver to the detail level you need. In the known rounds I generally have the caller give me the basic figure with no details on...

motor box top plate - ok to use screws or is epoxy a must

I had the H9 Sukhoi and the Edge 540 with a DA1oo. If my memory serves me, and it doesn't like it used to, I didn't need stand offs at all and the DA120, according to DA's website is only a 1/4" shorter. So why the long standoffs?
