That 4325-280 is a kick ass motor. It'll rock on 8s. nd its lighter then the 5320-300 too boot. You should be able to run a 20x10 if you wanted and your packs and esc can handle it. Can't go past ZTW or castle ICE esc for this setup. I'd recommend an opto 120A either ztw or castle ICE.

I hear you on the anti 3D crowd. My wife and I were just discussing this at lunch today and too be honest it is clearly discrimination in its most ugly of forms. Not because of your skin colour, not because of your sex, sexual orientation or your cultural background, it just plain and simply...

That kinda sux Joe, but at least you know you're in great company. The 3D guys that get a hard time at the flying club. I must admit, I kinda thought for a while it might have been my personality but, it seems the anti 3D situation reaches across cultures, continents and time zones, so it...

Feral, their 2x 30C 4s4000 packs (gensace) in series for 8s. gets about 5:30min hard hucking and over 6min taking it easy. Bryan, nothing like flying in a tight box to hone those finger buddy. I always flew bigger air at the flying club plus the club guys didn't like the down low and dirty...

I'll be keen to find out as well. As you know throttle use is completely different between planes and heli's when in 3D mode. Heli's are throttled up and you push the battery with changes in collective pitch right, which can bog a poor battery. Planes are more low and high, up and own on...

Hey feral, how you finding the revo packs? Do they handle being pushed hard, voltage sag under load etc? I had some 60c 6s5000 I sent back to them as they were high in IR but I know others in the heli game that rave about them.

Its lighter then it looks.... only 1.5kg all up!!! lol...... Good thing I fly FUTABA, I'd hate to be a spectrum guy and be worried about it going off the air every now and again!!

Feral, have you had any confirmation from DA about the China shipment yet? Last I heard it hadn't left China as yet. For motors, either the torque V2 motor recomended by EF or a motolfly DM4315-480 or -500 if you want 15" prop. -480 will handle 16x8 prop if you are that way inclined.

The 70" is a great in between size I reckon. I've flown it twice at the park now and it floats along very nice when needed and flying in that double soccer oval space seems pretty easy now. No way could I have done that 12 months ago. 48" planes on 4s would eat all that space in my early...

I installed mine on the 70" extra with UHU Por, (welders) and only glued to the legs, not the fuse. That way if I break the legs I don't have to damage anything to remove the skirts and replace the legs etc. EPOXY is fine as well, but I bet thats a one instal only method.

Sorry BB, I mistook a message I had read previously. Apparently the 78" MXS isn't released at this time, but it Chinese NY at the moment so its anyones guess for a few days more.

BB, just based on what DA Aus tell me is coming in the next container I would comment for you the following: 78" MXS 60" Lazer 48" Yak54 That's all that's new that I'm aware of apart from the 91" extra that the US already has.

60" Edge EXP Build and Fly

Are you talking about KE spins or crankshafts (lomcevaks)? I got my 60" extra better balanced today with 7g of lead to the tail and she seems to really improve the violent stuff out of sight. The crankshafts seems to do an easy 3-4 full rotations now before it runs out of steam!

60" Edge EXP Build and Fly

I've only started the last few weeks on these crankshafts after watching Wamsy videos. The trick is to hit left full rate aileron first, followed almost immediately with right rudder then the rest of the blender type stick movements. Trick is that the crank needs some heavy throttle inputs...

Nope, that is real time video. I'm running the Motrofly DM3615-750 motor and apc15x6 prop on 4s 2600 lipos. She's a twitchy little beast these days. A lot more slow rolling on smaller prop like 14x7. My ailerons are 45deg both ways. More: https://vimeo.com/59716541
